The paleo diet, which stands for "paleolithic", is but one long-term alternative that shines among the flurry of diet plans. Basically it is a low carb - protein diet and corresponds with my lifestyle of eating unprocessed, whole-foods. The Paleo Diet shows you to avoid foods which contain grains, legumes, soy, dairy, salt, yeast, processed sugar, and starchy veggies for example yams or potatoes.
